New Finnish fashion, Näytös XII (and a fun night out)
Yet another fun night out with friends, Näytös XII
The fashion show by the students of Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture called Näytös XII was held few weeks ago. The alumni designers were R/H, Sasu Kauppi, Saara Lepokorpi and Ensaemble. Finnish television (YLE) aired the shows live. Some say it was not a total succes, but a very good start. We need more interesting new fashion talents on tv for everyone to see.

One of my favourite places in Helsinki
One of the best places to have a cup of tea or a glass of cold cider.
One of my favourite places in the summertime in Helsinki, former lightship Relandersgrund, now a fine little cafe/bar. It's open whenever the weather is nice.
And it happens to be just around the corner from where i live, how nice!
In good company. That's Baawo.
I'm having a cup of "laivapojan lempi" (translates "shipmates love" or something like that...)
Shoes are important.
Can't really complain about the view.

Halloween inspiration 2011
I love halloween. I'm very inspired by old horror movies, vintage halloween pin-ups and vampire stories ( no, i still haven't seen Twilight..). This year i'm olso very inspired by 80s/90s horror movies (and horror comedy, oh my..). I have to watch these movies again.

The Addams Family (1991) Anjelica is marvelous.
There are lots of great halloween inspration movies, these are just the ones that i really want to watch this year.
I have two halloween partie i'm going to, one in Helsinki and one in Tampere. I'm probably gonna go dressed as a vampire. Again. (But this post proves that i'm not always dressed up as a vampire.)
If i have time, i will be making a huge lace headpiece that is a mixture of Lucy's headpiece in Dracula and the spanish mourning veil.
