I was going to take these outfit pics before the party, but that didn't happen..So i took them after the the party, in the middle of the night, when i got home. Cecil wanted to be in the pictures as well. Bix is not in the pictures, for he was too busy lurking in the bushes.

I'm wearing one of my favourite 40's dresses. It was a gift from my friend Oona. 50's gardigan is a flea market find, shoes, belt and hat second hand.

As you can see, i'm going further and further, back in time. Now i'm already back in the roaring 20's! Well, very early 20's. That dress is a flea market find, only 3 €! Shoes are from the 90's, but they are very Art Deco style, so they match well with this dress.

I have no eyeliner here, just eyeshadow. And i'm wearing Tyra Therman's earrings that i wore in a photo shoot few months ago. I had to buy them, i couldn't give them back!

HulaPirates Holiday Party

We had a pre-christmas party at Wäiski with my burlesque family few weeks ago. I was DJ'ing with my mentor Miroslove Satan.

Here's on of my threasures, vintage 30's silk dress. It's in very good condition, and fits me perfectly. Flea market find.

Don't you just love those details?

I even 30's style shoes with about 2inch heel, though i normally prefer higher heels. These shoes are repro, from flea market.

Here's me with two sweethearts, Lola Vanilla and Jack Frost.

It was a night of good friends, music, cocktails and interesting new acquaintances...

Circus Finlandia, what a show!

We went to see the Sirkus Finlandia show last tuesday with the HulaPirates gang here in Helsinki. The show was awesome! It had everything that a circus act needs, horses, sea lions, cats (<3), juggling (with fire!), clowns, unicycles...

Here we are, looking very smart with our new noses.

Circus! <3

One of the best parties i've attended took place last sunday night in a circus tent! It was the Sirkus Finlandia season ending party. Bettie Blackheart, Sally Vanilla, Bent van der Bleu and Frank Doggenstein were performing. And the audience went wild! Masha did her debut as a pick-up girl! I can't wait to see her first burlesque number!

"There have always been performing artists, but circus as we know it today is just over 200 years old. The first Finnish circus dates back 100 years. Traditional circus with a round stage has been accompanied by a newer more theater-like version. Circus Finlandia, however, represents the traditional form of circus.
The first show of Circus Finlandia was performed 21st April 1976 in Tammisaari, Finland. Now the circus has experience of over 30 years.
The status and influence of Circus Finlandia is unique in Finnish circus history. Circuses of this size have previously only been active for five years at most. Today Circus Finlandia is the only Finnish circus of international standards. It is also a member of ECA European Circus Association. About 200 000 Finns attend Circus Finlandia's show this year. "

Photo shoot with the HulaPirates

After few hours of sleep i packed my things again a was on my way to a group photo shoot with the HulaPirates. Photo shoots are almost always fun and today we had a blast! Most of the credit goes to our lovely snow white Masha<3 She's sharp as a knife!


This i what i was wearing today. I'm crazy about cardigans, and this one is one of my favourites at the moment. Kinda 1940's Austrian housewife :) I bought it from Fida for 4 €. The label says it's from the 80's.
