The first issue of the first Finnish burlesquezine Paljettipommi is here!

Here it is folks! The first Finnish burlesque magazine Paljettipommi!

I wrote a little article about the (probably)most well known burlesque song, "The tripper".

There's also recipes of the Cointreau cocktails made for me, Kiki and Bettie by Cointreau bartender back in 2011.

Read Paljettipommi online here.

Listen to the burlesque classics playlist i made for the first issue here.

Latexmania BBQ party

I'm not working as a teacher today, so no Teacher Style photo untill tomorrow. Instead i will tell you about the party we had yesterday. We had a 10 years anniversary BBQ party with some friends. 10 years ago i was asked to model some Latex by a marvelous lady, Kirsi Nisonen. I said yes gladly. It was a start of a beautiful friendship and my loveaffair with latex clothing.

The location was delightful! It's called Teurastamo (slaughterhouse because of it's former purpose but these days it's a place for fun, friends, food and sharing, not death).

Me and Kirsi.

I'm wearing an amazing 80's does 40's/50's vintage dress from Ansa (where else! :)

Latex love

The amazing latex catsuit is custom-made by Savage-Wear in Berlin
The idea for this outfit came from a Gil Elvgren harlequin pin-up painting, i just wanted the colours to be different. I love the nude colour mixed with the metallic lilac.
The suit is so well made that i was in awe when i got it..i knew Heidi (the head mistress at Savage-Wear) is good, but still! This catsuit is really something. And it fits like a dream. I can highly recommend their services to all latex lovers.

My first catwalk modeling job was for a latex clothing company back in 2004 and it was love at first touch.

The photo is by JBM, experienced photographer of feminine beauty, burlesque and bondage. It was a pleasure to work with him and Jirina who was the assistant in this shoot.

Gil Elvgrens painting and my version of that suit made by Savage-Wear.

Helsinki Traditional Jazz Dance Company

Some of you might know that i'm a real passioned dancer. I have a ballroom background, but three years ago i found something that really feel is the thing for me, traditional (or some say authentic) jazz dance! We have a small performance group too, in gthe photo above (i'm the one on far right) we are performing at the Helsinki Burlesque Festival few months ago.
Those costumes are designed by Anni (third from right) and me and made by Anni. She is my partner in crime on many fields...

And here we are at Kulttuurikeskus Caisa after our last performance on thusday.
From left: Elina, Oona, Me, Anni, Serena, Malin & Clyde (our wonderful teachers), Kirsi, Nina.

My style in Elle Magazine

Elle Finland asked me to show them some of my favourite pieces from my wardrobe.

I like to keep my make-up simple. Left daytime, right evening look.
My daytime make-up is just foundation, eyeliner, eyebrow pencil and red lipstick.

They put me next to a very funny Jean Paul Gaultier ad! :D
