Teacher Day 26, Leopard Selfie

I'm not very good with selfies, but here goes. I was so tired that day after 14 hours of work, that this was all i could manage.
Everything second hand. I adore that 90's leopard shirt.

Tallinn Burlesque!

My good friend Baawo was invited to the opening night of Tallinn Burlesque. Since i like Tallinn and burlesque, i went along. It was a fun night! Performers, free drinks, new people..and the place was fantastic, old factory building. Most certainly haunted.

 Me wearing:
Hat by me
50's vintage dress
80's belt
90's does 40's purse
a drunken smile

The morning after, the lifesaver.

If you ever go to Tallin, GO TO THIS RESTAURANT! Oh my god, everything was perfect!
It's called Must Lammas (black sheep). Here we are with the chef.

One more photo from Tallinn Burlesque's facebook page (yes, not a blurry hipstamatic pic. Say what you like, but  since i don't have a proper camera at the moment, i prefer hipstamatic over the crappy cell phone pics!).

Halloween inspiration 2011

I love halloween. I'm very inspired by old horror movies, vintage halloween pin-ups and vampire stories ( no, i still haven't seen Twilight..). This year i'm olso very inspired by 80s/90s horror movies (and horror comedy, oh my..). I have to watch these movies again.

The Witches of Eastwick (1987) Look at all that hair!

Death Becomes Her (1992)

The Addams Family (1991) Anjelica is marvelous.

There are lots of great halloween inspration movies, these are just the ones that i really want to watch this year.
I have two halloween partie i'm going to, one in Helsinki and one in Tampere. I'm probably gonna go dressed as a vampire. Again. (But this post proves that i'm not always dressed up as a vampire.)

If i have time, i will be making a huge lace headpiece that is a mixture of Lucy's headpiece in Dracula and the spanish mourning veil.
Amazing!
