The Amazing Atelieri O.Haapala at Vapriikki Vintage

Few weks ago in Vapriikki, Tampere. The wonderful Atelieri O.Haapala! I can't get enough of their photos and the beautiful backdrops they paint themselfs!
Here's me in my HC vintage look (actually a find from a theatre fleamarket so not really that old. The shirt is second hand and shoes are real vintage leather boots, early 1900) and in the pic below me and my dear friend Ane, a.k.a. burlesque performer Pepper Sparkles.
See all the photos from Vapriikki on Atelieris facebook page.

Photo Shoots...

I've been busy with photo shoots lately. On saturday we had a photo shoot with Atelieri O.Haapala duo Saara and Marco and the lovely Itty Bitty Tease Cabaret girls. I did the hair for that shoot and Miia Magia did the make-up.

The set were absolutely divine...

The other shoot, with Kerttu Malinen and the Helsinki Burlesque posse, took place here ...

This was the very first time i was posing in a swimming pool with all my clothes on. This place is Yrjönkadun uimahalli (swimming hall of Yrjö-street...). It was opened 1928 and it was the first public swimming hall in Finland. And i think it's the only swimming hall in Helsinki where you can swim naked...

A fun day with Helmut and Onyxei! This one is from the Atelieri O.Haapala exhibition.

Halloween 2009

Some kind of HulaPirates version of The Munsters or The Addams Family :D

This was DJ Fiona Timantti's halloween outfit this year! Black 50's vintage dress with lovely white lace details. And lots of rosaries. That PVC bow is made by me. Thats , by the way, how my hair looks if i don't curl it. My hair is naturally totally straight.

My top 5 halloween songs this year were:
1. Michael Jackson-Thriller (it's my number one favourite every year, i guess..)
2. Dan Popplewell-Stylish Thriller
3. Pet Shop Boys-Vampires
4. Jill Tracy-Evil Night Together
5. Run-DMC-Ghostbusters

These pictures are of course taken by Atelieri O.Haapala <3

Updates..

So much party photos, so little time to post them! Heres some pics from Atelier O.Haapala birthday party and from 'All Burlesque'...

There was lot's of champagne and a cake that was shaped like a zeppelin!

The location was super! We were in one of the oldest hotels in Helsinki, Hotelli Seurahuone.
History of hotelli Seurahuone
'At the end of the 1820s, Helsinki sorely needed distinguished, stylish premises for festivities. The Town Hall had become far too small and was unable to meet the demand. A meeting held in the Helsinki Magistrate’s Office on 29 November 1827 drew attention to the town’s lack of a decent hotel and restaurant operator. This led to the decision to establish the Hotel Seurahuone, and on 29 January 1828 a Board of Directors was appointed for the new joint-stock company. The grand opening of the new hotel, designed by architect Carl Ludvig Engel, took place on 8 December 1833.'
The Hotel Seurahuone Helsinki is Finland’s oldest hotel operating without interruption.
More about Hotelli Seurahuone.

Here are the two geniuses behind Atelieri O.Haapala, Helmut and Onyxei!

I've had my picture taken by them five times. Here's one on my favourite, from the Helsinki Burlesque festival 2008.

Lumimarja, Saara (a.k.a. Onyxei) and me posing.

After the birthday party, i rushed to work.
As you probably remember, i had a gig in DTM. It was 'Women only' burlesque party, starring Sugar Kane, The Itty Bitty Tease Cabaret and Burlesque Polaire.

Here's my outfit for the night. The dress is so short...I woud normally never ever wear something this tiny, but Dj gigs are a whole 'nother story.. I love to wear wigs. You can change your style so easily. This black one is probably my favourite. Here's me wearing a blonde wig. The latex outfit is by Kirsi Nisonen. This picture was taken few months ago when i had dj gig in tampere, Fetish Factory 2009.
