Teacher Style ..at last we're back (days 42-44) traveling and teaching

Pardon me for being absent for a while...lots of things going on and off work. But here's few more days of my Teacher Style photo project.
We had halloween theme at school and here's my outfit! Vintage 50's dress and catears and a tail i made myself. (Wonderful 90's film camera vibes in this photo...)

Tired but extremely happy, me and my students organized a fashion show and it was a success!
Wearing vintage and second hand.

I also visited Pietarsaari and the Centria University of Applied SciencesI was invited there to teach the millinery basics to a very cool and motivated group of people. I was very happy to share my knowledge with those young talents.
Hat - Fiona Timantti Millinery
Cardigan - vintage
Scarf and skirt - second hand
Shoes - 90's does early 1900

My friend here might be tiny but make no mistake. He's fierce.

Teacher Style day 40, Superhero or a Villain?

Had a superhero moment at work with my new coat (from the recycling centre, only 5€!) and a mask one of the students is making. Not sure if this character is a hero or a villain...

Teacher Style day 16, The Pre-Raphaelites

Todays Teacher Style picture was inspired by a Pre-Raphaelite painting. I had some help. My students Saila, Anna, Ida and Joni were my marvelous assistants, thanks guys!

Everything i wear is second hand.

The painting was of course Dante Gabriel Rossetti's 'The Bride' (also 'The Beloved'). He finished it in1866 but continued to make changes to it throughout his life.
(Oil on canvas, dimensions 80 cm × 76 cm)

Nailed it! Hehehehe!

DJ's of the #helbf14

Two nights of dj'ing, two guest dj's, too looks.
The first night i had the pleasure to play with Dr.Hirschfeld from Berlin! This is the firts but hopefully not the last time we were dj'ing together. What a sharp dressed, lively guy! And since he is the doctor, i was dressed as a nurse. Wearing vintage ofcourse. The lovely vintage nurse hat is from Pepper Sparkles.

The second night i was companied by my frequent partner in rhythm, Atom Of Finland! We play so well together! I was wearing a headpiece by Fiona Timantti Millinery and a dress made for me at my old school, the school of theatre costumes in Espoo.

Walk down the memory lane..My first Pin-Up contest and DJ gig!

Hehehe..sweet memories. The first (and last) Pin-Up contest i ever entered. It was held by a vintage site "My Vintage Hut" (anyone remember that site? It was one of my favourites). The year was 2004 or 2005. I was so young and so pale! :) I was second runner up.

And my first DJ gig in Turku in 2007 with my mentor Miroslove Satan. Those were the days!

Trashionistas transformation to a Pin-up girl by PinUpHelsinki®

A fellow blogger and friend Outi Pyy came to experience her day as a pin-up girl. I think we at PinUpHelsinki did a fairly good job. What do you think? Read the whole story in Outis blog (in finnish).
