Fashion shoot, Pulp style!

I told you some time go about my love for Pulp cover art. Few days ago i came across these lovely images while surffing.
In the November issue 2009 of Harper's Bazaar UK was this cool fashion shoot featuring Claudia Schiffer in various classic pulp images.
The photos are by Michelangelo di Battista, and the illustrations are by Jon Rogers. Nice, eh? Even though i'm not a huge fan of Caludia Schiffer, in these photos she is stunning.

Style Icon, inspiration, Carmen Miranda!

Carmen Miranda, Portuguese-born Brazilian samba singer, Broadway actress and movie star popular in the 1940s and 1950s. She was, by some accounts, the highest-earning woman in the United States and recognized for her signature fruit hat outfit that she wore in the 1943 movie The Gang's All Here.
